Thanks to the hard work of our great customer-focused team, Turner Pest Control has continued to grow and build on our successes. In May, we were very pleased to have once again been named to Pest Control Technology (PCT) magazine’s Top 100 list, and we’ve moved up three spots to become the 53rd-largest pest control company in the nation. The Top 100 list is based on revenue, and we’re fortunate to have experienced a 14-percent growth rate.
We were also featured in an article on PCTOnline.com about the Top 100 list and the major trends that are changing our industry for both pest control companies and their customers. Our marketing director, Stacy McKinney, was quoted in a section of the article about the importance of the internet and digital marketing.
As noted in the article, we attribute much of our record first quarter in 2016 and record month in March to our focus on online marketing. We’re continuing to expand our customer base with search engine optimization and Google AdWords campaigns, which helped increase our website traffic by nearly 40 percent and site visits from social media by almost 500 percent. We also launched our new website in 2015, which was redesigned around our customers’ needs, providing them with the ability to go online to compare prices, schedule appointments, stay up to date with the latest information, and more.
We’re confident that the great dedication of everyone in our Turner Pest Control family will keep us moving up on the Top 100 list in years to come!
