Turner Pest Control is excited to announce the opening of our Ocala branch location. The Ocala branch will help Turner to provide efficient pest control service to customers in the Central Florida area. The Ocala Branch will be run by Tommy Cleland, who is an Entomologist with over 20 years of experience in pest control. October 25, 2007 Pull for the Kids Skeet Shoot
Turner Pest Control was a proud sponsor of the Pull for the Kids Skeet Shoot. The event, held by the First Coast Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors, was held in Jacksonville, Florida. The proceeds from the event went to the Ronald McDonald House, whose mission is to find and support programs that directly improve the health and well being of children.
August 16, 2007 Turner wins excellence award!
Turner Pest Control was awarded the 2007 Super Sub Award for Excellence in Construction by The Florida First Coast Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors. The award was presented at the Annual ABC Gala event on August 4, 2007. The award recognizes Turner Pest Control as the outstanding subcontractor for its members in 2007. Turner's President Mark Slater commented, "this award is really made possible by the awesome work done by our dedicated pre-treat team as well as the fantastic group of contractors that trust us to perform the pre-construction treatments on their projects. Turner has earned this for the second time in three years; however, we don't take any of this for granted. We value the trust placed in our organization and we continue to work hard everyday to deliver the highest quality treatments for these projects."

May 29, 2007 Turner Pest Control is ranked the 55th largest pest control by PCT Magazine.
Each year PCT Magazine ranks pest control companies in the United States by size. For 2006, Turner Pest Control was ranked 55th in the nation, which is an increase from its rank as 60th in 2005. Turner’s President, Mark Slater commented that “the rankings are kind of a fun thing to watch each year, but at the end of the day our real measurement of success is having satisfied customers and employees. We view the increase in ranking as a result of us achieving that goal. Our goal is not to be the biggest, just the best!”

February 15, 2007 Turner Pest Control announces the launch of the BRIC Builder Portal
Mark Slater, President of Turner Pest Control announced the successful launch of the BRIC, an internet based portal that gives builders the ability to access closing documents in an efficient, easy to use, on-line environment. “In an environment where builders are looking to save costs, we were happy to make the investment on such a unique tool that helps the builder streamline their back-end processes. I think it shows builders that Turner is committed to quality from start to finish” says Slater. “So now, not only do the builders get the highest quality treatments from us, they also have a business partner that is helping them become more efficient. That’s a real value-add.”
February 1, 2007 Turner Pest Control promotes Ward Schuller to Vice President of Operations
Turner Pest Control is proud to announce the promotion of Ward Schuller from Regional Manager to Vice President of Operations. Ward joined Turner in January 2006 with over 20 years experience in pest control and quickly made his mark by assisting the company in upgrading quality control and training programs. His organizational skills and experience have been a key contributing factor to the success of Turner in the past year.
