Turner Pest Control Named a 2026 “Companies with Heart” Honoree by the Jacksonville Magazine

At Turner Pest Control, service has always meant more than protecting homes and businesses-it means showing up for our community with purpose, compassion, and heart.

That’s why we’re incredibly honored to be recognized by Jacksonville Magazine as a 2026 Companies with Heart honoree.

For nearly two decades, the Companies with Heart program has celebrated organizations that go above and beyond to make a meaningful difference in Northeast Florida. Being included among this year’s honorees is a reflection of our people, our culture, and our commitment to giving back.

A Culture Built on Care

Turner Pest Control began as a family-owned business, and even as we’ve grown across Florida, that family-first mindset remains at the core of everything we do. Our employees are neighbors, parents, volunteers, and community leaders-and we actively encourage and support them in making a positive impact where they live and work.

Making an Impact Through Service

In 2025, our team proudly supported dozens of nonprofit organizations through sponsorships, donations, and hands-on volunteerism. One of our largest initiatives was partnering with United Way of Northeast Florida and First Coast News for Stuff the Bus, where Turner Pest Control helped collect more than 36,000 school supplies for students across Duval and Clay Counties-impacting more than 140,000 students. We also supported organizations such as:

  • Operation Barnabas
  • Beaches Habitat for Humanity
  • Boy Scouts of America North Florida Council
  • YMCA youth sports programs
  • Feeding Northeast Florida
  • Wolfson Children’s Hospital
  • And many more

Our employees regularly volunteer their time at food banks, community events, and local initiatives statewide, reinforcing our belief that strong communities are built by people who care and take action.

Environmental Responsibility at Turner Pest Control

At Turner Pest Control, our employees take pride in doing work that protects both people and the environment. We empower our team with a prevention-first approach that emphasizes thorough inspections, ongoing monitoring, exclusion and prevention services, and the responsible use of treatments only when necessary. By using eco-friendly, low-impact products and innovative solutions like our SMART digital, non-toxic rodent monitoring system, our employees help reduce environmental impact while delivering real results for customers. It’s meaningful work rooted in care-for our communities, our environment, and each other.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we move into 2026, we’re continuing to expand our community partnerships through our Employee Engagement Committee, with a focus on supporting veterans, students, and local families. By empowering our team members to lead volunteerism and outreach efforts, we’re building a culture where giving back isn’t just encouraged-it’s part of who we are. Being named a Companies with Heart honoree is a meaningful milestone, but it’s also a reminder of why we do what we do every day. To our employees, customers, and community partners: thank you for being part of the Turner Pest Control family. Together, we’re protecting what matters most. Read the article here: Jacksonville Magazine, January/February 2026
