Christmas has always been my favorite time of year. As a single dad facing the sometimes overwhelming challenge of raising a little girl to a beautiful woman, Christmas was a time when this relationship was at its most rewarding and fulfilling. We always took the time to laugh at each other over the awkwardness a man experiences while guiding a young lady to maturity, and I certainly made plenty of mistakes that led to great stories. The holidays are a time when we reflect on those great memories.
While 2020 was a challenging year, I believe we can all look back during this season of reflection and find some memories to be proud of and recognize some personal achievements. During this holiday break, I hope everyone will find the time to hold close to family traditions and cherish those moments.
