Turner Pest Control Expands Service Area Throughout Georgia
Jacksonville, FL, July 12, 2021 — Turner Pest Control, an Anticimex company providing comprehensive pest control services to residential and commercial clients in Florida and South Georgia, has recently acquired three pest control companies in Georgia. The acquisitions of Bug-Off Exterminators, Advanced Services, and Green Frog Pest Solutions allow the company to provide comprehensive pest control services to customers in more than six Georgia cities, as well as territories in Lexington, Columbia, and Aiken, South Carolina.
“We’re fortunate to have partnered with three exceptional and well-established pest control companies in Georgia,” says Turner Pest Control President Bill Talon. “Together, these acquisitions provide a tremendous opportunity for the new customers we now welcome into the Turner family, as well as for our newly expanded team of employees. We couldn’t be more excited to join forces with companies that have built such outstanding reputations for quality.”
Bug-Off Exterminators, headquartered in Woodstock, Georgia, and led by owners Donald and Katherine Edwards, has been serving customers in the North Metro Atlanta area since 1986. The company provided pest control services for both residential and commercial properties.
J. Edwards Services, Inc., represented and acted as exclusive financial advisor to Bug-Off Exterminators on the transaction.
“Turner Pest Control and Bug-Off Exterminators share an uncompromising focus on the key to our organizations’ success: building long-term relationships with satisfied customers,” says Donald Edwards, who echoes Talon’s message about the opportunities this expansion offers. “This acquisition means our valued customers will have access to new, innovative pest control services and our team will enjoy great new career opportunities. We’re excited to see what the future will bring.”
Advanced Services has more than 10,000 customers in Augusta, Statesboro, Savannah, Baxley, and Guyton, Georgia, and in its territories in South Carolina. Owned and operated by Bo and Dena Thomas, who also own Green Frog Pest Solutions, the company has served customers for 35 years.
Advanced Services President Dena Thomas notes that the shared values and vision of Turner Pest Control was a factor in its decision to join with the company, adding, “Their sharp focus on their employees and customers was extremely attractive to us. When the opportunity to join forces with Turner presented itself, it made perfect sense. It will give our employees more flexibility and gives us the opportunity to provide our services to a wider audience, expanding further throughout Georgia and South Carolina with the potential of regional expansion.”
Paul Giannamore and Franco Villanueva-Meyer of The Potomac Company represented and acted as exclusive financial advisors to Advanced Services and Green Frog Pest Solutions in this transaction.
